Chimie ParisTech stands as a prestigious and renowned Chemical Science and Engineering College, it is one of the founding members of ParisTech, and Paris Sciences et Lettres Quartier Latin. The college established in the year 1896, located in the 5th arrondissement of Paris. The students enter the school after highly competitive exams popular as the Concours Communs Polytechniques, following at least two years of Classes Preparatoires. The school is well-known as France's most selective chemical engineering college. It is a research centre accommodating 9 laboratories that conduct high level research in various fields of chemistry. The college started delivering a prestigious master's of engineering in 1907.
